Well, it's Ash Wednesday today and do we all know what that means? It's time for a RIOT?! J/K peoples! I just say that because after Kris and I went to St James for mass, we went downtown to pick up our paychecks and we saw literally almost 1OO PO-Lice officers in riot gear spread all the way from 1st Hill [St. James] to downtown near Westlake where there were a bunch of anti-war protestors.....protesting....the war? Hehe j/k I'm not stupid but yah there were lots of people there......

Anyways at church the Archbishop was there today which was pretty schway because the last time I saw him at a mass was Christmas 2 years ago and I couldn't even see him and Father Ryan made a pretty good point about Lent that he read from the Bible

Matthew 6:6, 16-18
"But whenever you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you. And whenever you fast, do not look at dismal, like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces so as to show others that they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward. But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that your fasting may be seen not by others but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you"
