Lazy!
Well I keep feeling lazy about blogging about Europe but I know I have to soon or else I'm gonna forget what happened hehe
So London was fun and when we were there the temperatures were very nice. Around the 7O's and it was partly cloudy so hanging around there was no sweat. We stayed not too far from Oxford St. which we were told was the major shopping area for London. So, of course my mom wanted to peruse the world famous store Harrod's [owned by Princess Di's lover's father the Fayad's] that story is crazy! Stores in London tend to have supermarkets in them so we were walking around the store all confoozed and we were in women's fragrance and then the next thing we knew we were in the meat butcher's. But there were really so many things in that store that only the really rich shop there religiously I guess. There are so many fancy name brands. Sorta like how you'd find them in Saks. But gah, I remember now that some of the bathrooms you have to pay just to use them! Luckily we didn't walk into any of those hehe.
Also in London like I said before we were on a tour so we got to see all the major "landmarks" of the area. We got lucky that we were in time to see the tours of Buckingham Palace. I guess they are only open for 6 weeks out of the year and every year it's always jam packed. The rooms that we got to see seemed so small to me! I guess I always thought that the throne room was like hundreds of feet wide....It's not that big haha. Oh yah we say St. Paul's Cathedral where Princess Di and Prince Charles were married. It's such a huge place and it's so ornate and sorta creepy haha. On the bottom floor there's a crypt that you can freely walk around. It's not just anyone though it's people of importance in British history. I can't remember the names now though.
I must say though that in London I didn't really enjoy British men. Wow, they're all.....non-attractive? Haha to say it nicely. Well they're not my taste at all. Big noses haha. Also the other thing that sucked in London was the money. ONE British Pound is equal to nearly TWO American Dollars. It killed me to buy much there and for some reason we weren't able to find too many places that sold nice souveniors.
Hmmm......I can't think of too much else and I don't want to start ranting about Paris right now. So I'll just leave things at that. Me sleep now or something.
